About Me

“Behind every case is a person who is deeply loved, and my work is to help bring them home, or at least bring their family closer to the truth.”

INVESTIGATIVE MEDIUMSHIP SESSIONS

Investigative mediumship is the quiet, careful side of my work, where my intuitive ability is brought alongside the practical discipline of investigation to support missing persons cases, cold cases and unresolved deaths, and it is offered to families who are still waiting for answers and to the organisations who walk beside them.

This is not a reading in the usual sense, and it is never offered as entertainment or as a replacement for the work of police and investigators; it is a grounded, structured and respectful contribution to a search, held with the same care I would want for my own family if someone I loved had not come home.

My Background

I first began connecting with Spirit at the age of seven, I have been offering professional readings since I was sixteen, and over more than thirty years as an international medium and spiritual teacher. I have sat with people in some of the most tender moments of their lives, which is where my understanding of grief, loss and the need for truth was first formed.

Alongside that path, and never in place of it, I have spent many years working in cold cases and missing persons, learning how investigators think, how a case is built, and how intuitive information can be gathered and offered in a way that is clear, careful and genuinely useful rather than vague or sensational. That investigative experience now shapes everything about the way I work, from how I receive information to how I record it, how I deliver it and who I share it with.

I also teach this work through Case Files Club, where students learn to read cases with the discipline of a detective and the sensitivity of a medium, and where ethics, accuracy and respect for the people behind every case sit at the heart of every class.

International Volunteer Work

I volunteer with an international organisation that supports law enforcement, organisations and families with missing persons, cold cases and homicides, bringing together intuitives and experienced investigators within a structured and carefully vetted process.

Working within that framework means my information is gathered, documented and passed through the appropriate channels rather than offered in isolation, and it is a privilege to contribute to a team that takes both the families and the integrity of each investigation so seriously. Out of respect for the families and the active cases involved, I keep the details of this work, including the name of the organisation, private.

Working With Families

I work privately with families by appointment, and I understand that by the time someone reaches out to me they have often been carrying unanswered questions for months, years or even decades, so every session begins with time to listen, to understand what you already know and to talk honestly about what you are hoping for.

During our time together I work with the information that comes through for your loved one and the circumstances around them, which may include the person themselves, the places connected to them, their movements and the people around them, and I deliver it in a clear and grounded way so that you are left with something you can understand, reflect on and, where appropriate, share with the investigators involved in your case.

I will always be honest with you about what I receive and what I do not, and I will never ask you to rely on my information in place of the work of police or the professionals supporting your search.

Supporting Organisations

Alongside my volunteer work, I also assist other organisations, whether that is a group supporting families of the missing, an advocacy or community organisation, or a team looking for an intuitive perspective on a particular case, and I am happy to discuss how I might be of help in a way that respects your own processes, confidentiality requirements and the families you serve.

How I Work

  • Grounded and precise. Information is delivered in plain, structured language, focused on people, places, movement and time, rather than in vague or symbolic terms that leave you guessing.

  • Honest. I tell you what I receive and what I do not, and I never fill the silence with something that is not there.

  • Respectful of the investigation. My work is offered as one contribution to a search, never as a replacement for police, investigators or the legal process, and I encourage information to be passed through the appropriate channels.

  • Confidential. Details of cases, families and the people I work alongside are kept private, and I do not share or publicise any case.

  • Compassionate. Behind every case is a person who is deeply loved, and that remains at the centre of everything I do.

Enquiries

If you are a family member looking for support, or an organisation wishing to discuss how I might assist with a case, please reach out to me at julie@moderndaymedium.com.au with a short outline of your situation, and I will be in touch personally to talk through whether and how I can help.

All investigative sessions with families are by appointment only, and every enquiry is treated with complete confidentiality.
